1. Introduction and setup.

2. Program environment and user interface.

4. How to create building elements “walls, floors, roof, openings”.

4. How to import components and objects.

5. Stairs design.

6. Structural elements “grid, columns, beams”.

7. 2d Presentation and annotations.

8. Rendering settings.

9. Layout design and sheets printing.

10. Introduction to massing.

⭕️Expected Learning outcomes:

1. Become familiar with the Revit user interface.

2. Become familiar with the BIM concept.

3. Understand the fundamental features and basic commands of Revit.

4. Use the design, drafting and visualization tools in Revit to accurately create building design and technical drawings.

5. Build a level of confidence with Revit through exercises.

⭕️About the instructor:

Duaa is a Teaching Assistant at the University of Khartoum. She trained over 500 students, architects, and engineers in different sectors to professionally utilise computer-aided design (CAD) software (Revit, AutoCAD, ArchiCAD, LumiOn, SketchUP) “about 900 hrs” in New Horizon training centre at City Collage.
