1. Introduction to GIS and its concepts.

2. Introduction to QGIS.

3. Basic data processing.

4. Watershed analysis.

5. Map design.

⭕️بنهاية الدورة التدريبية يتوقع من الدارس أن يكون قد اكتسب:

1. Know the fundamental concepts of desktop GIS and spatial analysis.

2. Familiarize themselves with interface and some capabilities of the QGIS software that relate to hydrologic studies.

3. Learn how to work with spatial data.

4. Implement GIS tools in basic hydrologic analyses.

5. Produce basic maps for print or inclusion with reports

Shihab is a water resources engineer with 10 years experience in modelling watersheds, plotting drainage networks, teaching, and staring for hours at some map or satellite imagery.

HE holds a B.Sc in Civil Engineering and a M.Sc in Water Resources Engineering, University of Khartoum.
