⭕بنهاية الدورة التدريبية يتوقع من الدارس أن يكون قادرًا على:

1. Define scholarly publishing and explain barriers & factors affecting research publishing.
2. Explain different types of scholarly publications.
3. Define scholarly publishers and explain their roles.
4. Discus publishing models and select the appropriate model for your manuscript.
5. Differentiate between original peer-reviewed journals and predatory/hijacked journals.
6. Define research metrics, and explain their rationale.
7. Explain research metrics of Clavate analytics/Web of Knowledge, Scopus, and Google Scholar.
8. Critique journals and select the right journal for your manuscript.
9. Describe the manuscript submission process and submit your manuscript to a peer-reviewed journal.
10. Define peer reviewing and explain the peer-reviewing process.
11. Respond effectively to the editor & reviewers’ comments and decision.
12. Explain the ethics of scholarly publishing and scientific misconduct (plagiarism, fabrication falsification, etc.).
13. Explain briefly and compare between different researcher identify tools (ORCID, Scopus author ID, Publons/Clarivate ana., Google Scholar, Research gate).
14. Utilize research identity tools to manage, track, and report your Research Activity.
